The Story

of

Coco & Iris

We met in 2021 while working at a major clothing retailer in Richmond, Virginia. We immediately hit it off and realized we have so much in common and really enjoy working together. We have many similar ideas and opinions when it comes to merchandising, marketing and sales techniques and we truly love what we do.
We both had been working in retail before we met and eventually got burned out between the unreasonable expectations, unfair policies and lack of transparency that comes with working for a major corporation. We have dealt with many battles throughout our work experience and hope that by owning our own company, we can do better for our future customers and employees, as well as ourselves.
Our main goal is to bring happiness and confidence to those who wear our clothes and always stay honest and genuine with complete transparency. We truly are beyond passionate about Coco and Iris and we are so inspired to create a business that we can be proud of. Thank you all for supporting us through this journey, we appreciate you more than you know! 💗

MEET HANNAH

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I was born and raised in Fairfax County, VA and then went to The University of Mary Washington and received a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Marketing with a minor in Sports Management in 2019. During college, I got a job at a major clothing retailer and that’s when I discovered my love for fashion merchandising. Within a year and a half of working there, I was promoted twice and planned to keep working my way up to a corporate marketing position🤠 I soon after realized that there’s many paths to success and happiness and the corporate ladder was not the one for me.

When I’m not working, I enjoy painting my nails💅 listening to music and podcasts and relaxing at home with my three cats🐱and boyfriend. I am so excited to see where this journey takes us and I feel so incredibly lucky to have Kat by my side! 💕

MEET KATHLEEN

Hi everyone, I’m Kathleen! I’m from Chesterfield, VA and went to Radford University where I majored in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Marketing. My major was inspired by my Fashion Marketing class in high school & the one and only: Ms. Hardison🫶🏼
It has always been a dream of mine to one day own an online clothing store and now that dream is becoming a reality!

I’m definitely a workaholic so it’s rare when I’m not working, but in my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, trying out new restaurants or breweries in Richmond, traveling, and doing anything that sparks my creativity!

I am so so excited for this adventure and so thankful for everyone’s support thus far! You all mean the world to Hannah and I🫶🏼

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Coco & Iris!✨💗🥂💖🪩
